Character Description on the BFG!

Hola,
Another Task for the summer learning journey was to write a character description on the BFG. This is my character description of who I think the BFG is. What is your favourite book at the moment?

The BFG is a colossal human that while you are sleeping is lurking around in the shadows waiting to collect your bad dreams and give you good ones. His clothing along with himself is filthy, he wears a white top with a brown vest and gross brown pants. Unlike his pairs, he is kind, skinny, and doesn't want to eat the children, he probably smells like fish and dirt. The BFG is nice but also is a bit strange.

My Pepeha!

Hello everyone,
For the summer learning journey teaser week, one of the tasks was to create my own pepeha. I created mine on canva. Do you know what your pepeha is?
This is mine.

My Tiny House!

Hello,
For the past 2 weeks, we have been doing our swimming lessons, while we are not at swimming we have had to complete tasks, one of the tasks this week was to create and design your own tiny house!
This is my finished house!

My house is designed for one person and has everything you need. It has a single bed with a desk at the foot of the bed, a rug with a couch and tv and kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, and an oven with a stovetop, by that there is a four-seater dining table in case I have friends over. On the other side of the wall is the bathroom, with a bathtub and shower above, next to that is the toilet and the sink.

HARD BEDMAS!

   \\|||||//
L☉☉k what maths I can do!
    šŸ‘ƒ
    šŸ‘„
 -10➗(20➗22x5➗5)x8-2

To work this out you have to use BEDMAS, this stands for Brackets, Exponents, Division, Multiplication, Addition, Subtraction.

This is how you work it out:
-10➗(20➗22x5➗5)x8-2
-10➗(20➗4x5➗5)x8-2
-10➗(5x5➗5)x8-2
-10➗(25➗5)x8-2
-10➗(5)x8-2
-2x8-2
-16-2
-16-2=-18

Our answer is -18!!

I hope this helped you with your BEDMAS mathematics.

Goal ladder Reflection

Reading
My goal this year was to read novels and be able to analyse the characters, settings, plot, and themes in great detail.
I think I have not achieved my goal but have definitely moved up the ladder so I am right now at Get people to ask me about the plot, and themes.
I think to help me get to the top of the ladder I need to ask my parents to question me about the chapter I read every night and keep track of it so I know when I have reached my goal.

Writing
My writing goal this year was to I will elaborate on my ideas by using precise details and facts.
I think I have achieved my goal this term because I have been working really hard to make my story's more interesting and using lot's of websites to make sore that the facts that I use are on more websites that way there is more chance that they are true.

Math
My maths goal was to I will find the rule in patterns and express the rule as a formula.
I have not been able to achieve this goal because we haven't done this sort of maths yet so I have not had a chance to really try because we have been doing geometry.

Resilience
My goal was to know when to walk away and refresh myself.
I have achieved this goal because I have walked away from the situation when I know it will end up in a big fight so I will walk away and play with different people.

Other
My goal for other was to identify my learning style and articulate my thinking.
I have not quite reached this goal but have tried both of the steps but I have not done it enough to know quite what my style is, so what I have to do is do both of the steps more.
