New Similes!!

Hello everyone,
For one of today's summer learning journeys, teaser week tasks were to create four new similies of my own. Can you create your own similies?
These are my similies:

Robert Wadlow is as tall as the BFG
Everyone is beautiful like peonies
Monaco is small like a snail
Shelly-Ann is fast like a lightning bolt

  1. Kia ora India-Grace, this is Kieryn from the Summer Learning Journey.
Ka pai on creating these fantastic similes! I think is was a great idea for you to write the ‘as tall as’ and ‘beautiful like’ in bold writing. This really puts emphasis on the similes you constructed.
Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is an amazing athlete who is such an inspiration.
You wrote the simile ‘Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is fast like a lightning bolt’ in your blog post. Did you know that she was the first Jamaican woman to win Olympic 100m gold in 2008? That is an amazing effort!
Have you ever wanted to enter the Olympics? If so, what sport would you want to compete in?
‘Everyone is beautiful like peonies’ is such a nice simile to include. Are peonies your favourite flower?
My favourite flowers are sunflowers because they are the most beautiful yellow colour, and always turn around to face the sun!
    Nga mihi
