Proud Portrait
Kia Ora readers,
Welcome back to my blog, hope you had a good summer and new year!
We are back at school and as it is a new year the teachers want to know more about us, their way of doing this is making us draw a portrait.
This year our portrait was based on the artist Romero Britto,
This is some of his work:
As you can see his work is very abstract and vibrant, the point of taking inspiration from him is that it didn't have to perfect and to exaggerate your features.
Now here is mine:
With my portrait, I exaggerated my eyes because people say I have big eyes and that my eyebrows are more pointy. My favorite tv shows are Riverdale, Stranger Things, and Brooklyn 99, I also like Harry Potter. I am born in NZ but am partly English, my favourite sport is soccer and I love dogs, there are a few more things on there that I enjoy like Mcdonalds and Tik Tok!
How has your new year been going?
What have you been doing at school?

2. Thoughtful - A comment that will mean something to me to let me know you read/watched or listened to what I had to say. - use any language.
3. Something helpful - Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
Encourage me to make another post

Kia ora India Grace, its India
ReplyDeleteI really like this drawing because you used the fact that people say you have big eyes and incorporated that into your drawing, I also like stranger things and Brooklyn nine nine and i think that its cool that you put that in, Next time I think you could draw the mouth a little lower but overall this is really good!
